Simone Post
SIMONE POST (1990, Netherlands) is a Rotterdam-based visual artist whose work explores the transience of life.
Post transforms everyday materials into sculptural installations. Her material-focused objects invite us to take a fresh look at our surroundings. At the heart of her work lies a reflection on change and the beauty of the ephemeral.
In 2025, Museum Voorlinden in Wassenaar hosted the sugary-sweet exhibition *Sweet Memories*, for which Post recreated her childhood home using marshmallows, gummy candies, and candy necklaces—complete with stuffed animals, a bunk bed, and her mother’s sewing studio.
The opening of this unique exhibition will take place on Sunday, November 29, at the AnjoxalA Art gallery space. This selling exhibition will run until the end of January 2026 and can be viewed by appointment following the opening.
